March 15, 2026 | Staff News
We are thrilled to announce that TheColdCases.com is growing — and in a big way. Two talented individuals have joined our mission to keep the stories of unsolved cases alive and to fight for the answers that victims and their families deserve. Please join us in welcoming Ron Vroman and Jacqueline Bowser to our team.
Ron Vroman — Interviews & Video Content
Ron Vroman is a Host, Podcaster, Video Editor, Videographer, Storyteller, and Broadcast Writer — and a proud alum of the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting at Full Sail University. Ron has spent years honing his craft in front of and behind the camera, developing a unique ability to draw out compelling stories from the people he interviews.
At TheColdCases.com, Ron will be leading our interview department. Whether sitting down with family members of victims, investigators, advocates, or witnesses, Ron brings the kind of warmth and professionalism that makes people feel comfortable sharing their stories. His background in podcasting and broadcast writing means he understands how to frame a conversation for an audience — and how to ask the questions that truly matter.
Ron is also skilled in video editing, videography, and social media content creation, giving our team a powerful new dimension in how we tell these stories across multiple platforms. His proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop means our visual storytelling is about to reach a new level.
We are excited for Ron to bring his voice and vision to the cases that need to be heard.
Jacqueline Bowser — Writer & Investigative Contributor
Jacqueline Bowser brings a remarkable academic and professional foundation to TheColdCases.com. She holds an Associate degree in Journalism, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Media, and a Master of Fine Arts in Professional and Creative Writing — a combination that positions her as an exceptional voice in investigative storytelling.
Jacqueline has completed coursework specifically focused on true crime and investigative journalism, with an emphasis on research, ethical reporting, and responsible storytelling. She has previously published articles with Blasting News, covering high-profile news stories, and brings that experience to the deeply important work we do here.
At TheColdCases.com, Jacqueline will primarily be writing in-depth articles on cold cases, diving deep into the details that often get lost over time. She may also contribute to our interview efforts, bringing her journalist’s eye to conversations that matter. Among the cases she is already passionate about exploring are the disappearance of Doreen Vincent, the unsolved murder of Lisa Pruett, and the case of Kari Lynn Nixon — stories where renewed public attention can make a real difference.
Jacqueline’s commitment to ethical, research-driven storytelling is exactly what TheColdCases.com stands for.
A Note from the Team
Cold cases don’t solve themselves — they need dedicated people willing to ask hard questions, dig through the details, and keep the public’s attention on cases that might otherwise fade into silence. Ron and Jacqueline embody that dedication, and we couldn’t be more proud to have them on board.
Stay tuned — there is much more to come.
