Hey everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to open up and share something personal with you ❤️. My newest episode of TheColdCases.com Podcast is a little different from what you’re used to hearing. Instead of focusing on an unsolved case, I talk about my own background—growing up in the shadows of the Little Dixie Mafia 🕵️♂️, hearing stories of my grandfather’s uncles who were bank robbers 🏦💰, and witnessing how even people in government positionssometimes bent laws to their will ⚖️➡️.
It wasn’t easy to record this episode—it’s personal, it’s raw—but I believe it helps explain why I approach cold cases, unsolved crimes, and corruption with such intensity 🔍. Every investigation I share with you comes from that perspective, and I wanted to be transparent about it.
Right now, I’m focusing on building the podcast 🎧. I would love to bring on more interviews with victims’ families 💔 in the future, but it’s been difficult to line them up. I also plan to invite experts to share their insights 🧠, because I believe their voices can add so much to the stories we cover.
I’ll be honest—balancing the podcast and the newsletter hasn’t been easy 🤯. Some days I feel like I’m failing at juggling it all. But your support keeps me going 🙏. A lot of work has gone into building this platform, and I truly believe it can make a difference.
